Tejas American General Agency (TAGA) operates as a wholesale insurance agency providing commercial and personal insurance products to independent agents throughout the state of Texas. We are licensed as a managing general agent and surplus lines agent in order to provide both admitted and non-admitted insurance products.

TAGA was formed in 1997 by a group of insurance veterans, who were formerly part of another MGA operating in the Austin area, with the goal of providing agents fast, friendly service with quality insurance carriers.TAGA offers the best commercial markets in the insurance industry with a diverse range of coverages, including Commercial Agriculture, Farm and Ranch, Non-Subscription, Workers Compensation, Commercial Property and General Liability, Transportation and Auto, Standard Lines, Professional Liability and Environmental Liability. Account sizes range from small accounts to large brokerage accounts.
TAGA is located in Central Texas outside our capital city in Cedar Park, Texas.
